The Area

The north coast of Cornwall and the location around Rock in particular, is an area of outstanding natural beauty and provides a wealth of activities for both the young and the not so young. The coastal scenery is some of the very best in the British Isles and there are many National Trust gardens within striking distance, which are second to none. Cornwall has a long and interesting history and is a renowned centre for artists.

Access

Cycling The Camel Trail

By Road

Rock is approximately 4 hours from London by car.

National Express buses run from Gatwick and Heathrow to Wadebridge (5 miles away).

The closest railway station is Bodmin Parkway, which is approximately 10 miles away.

Great Western Railway and CrossCountry Trains are the two main rail companies providing regular trains to Newquay.

Eastern Airways BAe Jetstream 41 aircraft

By Air

There are daily flights to Newquay from Aberdeen, East Midlands, Humberside, and London Gatwick, with Eastern Airways . Rock is about 15 miles, by car, from the airport.
